Welcome to the Prayer of Intercession
The General intercessions prayer of the faithful is simply a prayer I have put together to intercede for anyone within the sound of this post. All I ask is that you agree with me as I pray, and together, we will seek our Heavenly Father. Please continue to meditate on this prayer for yourself. Speak it daily or read it over and over again, allowing the Word of God to reach deep into your spirit.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we gather together and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful name of Jesus. Your Word says that where two or more are gathered, there You will be in the midst of us, and anything we agree upon as touching, You will surely do.
The Bible teaches us to release any unforgiveness before praying. Therefore, we lay at Your feet all anger, bad feelings, resentment, or any other wrong attitude. We forgive and release those who have wronged us, Father, in Jesus’ name.
There is no distance in the spirit, and we thank You for the listener who desires this prayer for intercession. Lord, we lift them up, whether they need intercession for themselves or someone on their heart. We are honored to pray for them.
If they or the person they are interceding for do not know You, Father, we pray for laborers to cross their paths to share the good news of the gospel. We ask for blindfolds blinding them to the truth to be removed in Jesus’ name. Thank You for sending laborers to witness to them.
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over them and their families. We declare protection, angels to watch over them, and guidance to avoid any hidden dangers or traps. Open their eyes to recognize these things and give them the wisdom to navigate through them.
We declare that they will stand firm in You and resist the enemy. Your Word is their truth and their weapon, mighty through God to pull down strongholds. Help them to present their bodies as living sacrifices and renew their minds with Your truth, so they experience Your good, acceptable, and perfect will.
We lift up their relationships. Grant them discernment to walk away from harmful ones and nurture those that bring growth and blessing. We declare restoration and wholeness over their families and relationships, in Jesus’ name.
Father, we decree peace in their hearts and lives. May they walk in love and become ministers of reconciliation, sharing the gospel boldly. Empower them with faith to quench all fiery darts of the enemy and stand firm on Your promises.
When trials arise, help them cast down fear and speak Your Word. They are more than conquerors through Christ, for greater is He in them than he in the world. Father, grant them understanding, wisdom, and solutions for every challenge they face.
We declare that all things are working together for good in their lives as they walk in Your purpose. Bless their prayer life as they speak Your Word, for You watch over Your Word to perform it. Surround them with favor and peace, and guide them in every area of their life.
Father, we lift up all their needs spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial and call them abundantly supplied in Jesus’ name. Ministering spirits, bring their provision. We declare restoration and abundance over their lives now, in Jesus’ name.
Thank You, Lord, for Your anointing that breaks every bondage and brings freedom and joy. We believe and receive all we have prayed for and give You glory in advance for answered prayers.
