1. Jacob was the son of Isaac and the father of 12 tribes. When he was running away from his brother Esau, he got the opportunity to wrestle with an angel one night. Jacob wrestled with the angel the whole night and did not let go until he received his blessing. After that night, God changed his name to Israel, which means struggling with God. This turn in Jacob’s life gave him a new identity and responsibility.
This incident teaches us that with struggle and patience, God can give new direction to our life.

2. Joseph was Jacob’s most beloved son. He was sold into slavery by his brothers because of jealousy. Joseph was put in prison in Egypt but he continued to progress with God’s blessings. One night Pharaoh had a dream whose meaning no one could understand. Joseph was called and he explained the true meaning of the dream. Pharaoh was impressed by his wisdom and made him the chief minister of Egypt. Joseph’s life changed from prison to the palace in one night.
This incident teaches us that God opens doors for us in His own time no matter how much difficulty we are going through.

3. Daniel was a Jew who was brought to the court of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. He was able to understand and make sense by the power of God. King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream which none of the courtiers could understand. Daniel prayed to God and got the meaning of the dream. After this, the king appointed Daniel to a high position and his life changed overnight.
With God’s wisdom, even the impossible can be made possible.

4. Ruth was a Maobi woman who decided to stay with her mother-in-law Naumi even after her husband died. She was a poor widow and was struggling for her life. One night Boze, a wealthy and respected man, accepted her as his wife. This not only changed Ruth’s financial situation but she also became a part of the lineage of David and Jesus Christ.
God sees our selfless love and devotion and blesses us at the right time.

5. Saul, who was a fanatic Jew, was known for persecuting Christians. He was going to Damascus to arrest more Christians. During the journey, suddenly a bright light appeared and Saul saw Jesus Christ. At that very moment his life changed and he became Paul from Saul. After this he preached Christianity all over the world.
God can completely change the life of any person at any time, no matter how misguided they may be.

7. Esther was a Jewish girl who was orphaned and lived with her uncle Mordecai. She was chosen as the queen in the court of King Ahasuerus.
When a conspiracy was being hatched against her people in the king’s court, Esther revealed her Jewish identity to the king. She played an important role in saving her people and her situation changed overnight.
God chooses us for a special purpose and guides us through difficult times.

Nothing is impossible for God. He can even resurrect the dead and do miracles in our lives. The essence of these stories is that God can completely change the life of any person at any time.

John 11:1-44

He knows our struggles and circumstances and gives us direction at the right time. So if you think your life cannot change, remember that nothing is impossible for God. Just have faith and trust God’s plan.
